Priority: minor Component: Tiny Menu
Version: 1.4.2 Severity: Nuisance
Keywords: custom picture for "menu" Cc:

Description

In the options menu for this add-on, you can select text or picture. i set pictures, and saw the "menu" change to a nice icon, with an arrow on it. i tried then to change the picture. didn't like what i did, but now i cant get that nice original icon back! i searched within the Firefox folder to find the icon, to no avail. it would be nice to find a way to get back to the original icon. another good idea would be the ability to automatically resize the picture of your preference; for example, the picture I chose showed only the very center ten or so pixels of the picture of choice.

thanks for a great add-on!

BTW, I tried uninstalling "Tiny Menu". Restarted FF, dl'd the add-on, and when I went to the picture option, it showed the picture I used previously! So, there is a cache of some sort, but I cannot find it.

  • status changed from new to assigned

Regarding resizing: Not gonna happen. Feel free to submit a patch, though.

The default icon: Hmm. As a workaround, open about:config and find the "tinymenu.iconFile" preference, right click, reset.

I'll have to think about a good way to make that accessible. I'm open to suggestions.
