Monitor is always empty

The monitor never seems to show any items in it regardless if there are any blocked items on a page or not.

The functionallity other than that seems to be working as intended (just installed the addon today).

Using: Firefox 3.0.7 on Gentoo.

As per usual this was a case of user error... this ticket can be closed, sorry if I wasted too much of your time.

I was opening the monitor after the page had loaded and just now realized (after some site was constantly trying to reload subrequests of items that were blocked) that you have to open the monitor beforehand as it doesn't cache the information. I should really have thought about this from the start as it is a quite logical way to use a monitor or sniffer of sorts.

Thanks for explaining. Indeed, that is exactly how the monitor window works. It would be a little silly to waste CPU and memory recording EVERY resource that you ever load, so it doesn't start recording until you "tell it" that you're interested, by opening the window.
