Buttons overlap message on net error page in FF3 RC3

Reported by: samuel.lai@… Owned by: t-bone
Priority: minor Component: Resurrect
Version: 2.0.1 Severity: Nuisance

Description

Basically as described above - the new button layout on the top-right corner overlaps and hides the error description in the 'net error' page in Firefox 3 RC3, running on Vista if that matters.

Let me know if you need a screenshot, although it should be easily reproducible.

A screenshot would be good. Better would be a URL that reliably produces this.

Hmm... I assumed it was reproducible on every page, but it isn't. I don't have the actual URL of the page I saw it on, but I can reproduce it with a random fake URL.

Try navigating to ht tp : // w ww. gr gf dlkgl . go elh. weif . com/ (remove spaces - to defeat Trac spam filter) and shrinking the window horizontally. I know it's an unlikely that a (sub)domain name will be that long, so it may not be worth fixing.

Ok, I see. This happens for: long URLs + small windows, but is cosmetic so relatively low priority. But it is a bug!

The bug just popped up again. It occurs for really short URLs as well, like

ht tp: //ww w.v- 2.or g/ (remove spaces as usual... I wish trac was smarter than this, as there are a ton of reasons why I would want to post links that doesn't involve spam.)

No window shrinking required.
