Description

Can you please make a version that works in Firefox 3?

I downloaded beta 4 today, and am disappointed that I lost my "Up" button feature. I love it!

I suppose you missed the part where Mozilla said (emphasis theirs):

Firefox 3 Beta 4 is a developer preview release of Mozilla's next generation Firefox browser and is being made available for testing purposes only.

I was just going to see if a bug had been reported for FF3 compatibility and if a fix was coming, but having read the tone of your reply to this ticket I'll just uninstall and go back to Compact Menu 2.

Are you aware you come across as a dickhead?

Are you aware that you're calling me childish names for providing useful software to you FOR FREE? Doing so does not encourage me to invest more of my time for your benefit.

Are you aware that there are developers who provide their software FOR FREE and don't give SARCASTIC replies to users with GENUINE requests.

Also, I suppose you missed the part where beta releases serve the purpose of providing a testing ground for extensions BEFORE the final release? Fortunately the vast majority of extension developers have WORKED THIS OUT and have updated their extensions to work with FF3 betas.

Finally, don't start CRYING and SHOUTING when someone reacts to your rudeness and gives the same back.

Wow, I just read this and this was very unexpected. Almost all extension developers have started adapting their extensions to the Firefox 3.0 betas, even Chris Pederick, notoriously known for supporting no betas at all released a compatible version of the great Web Developer Toolbar already. Even Mozilla officials claims that the current beta versions of Firefox 3.0 are "ready for prime time" and "much more stable than anything else out there": -> www.reuters.com/article/internetNews/idUSN2041266520080320 One important aspect of the betas is, that the are for testing purposes. Testing compatibility of extensions for example. Resurrect Pages can be easily made compatible with current Firefox builds but has some slightly more serious issues with, it seems to break the new self singed certificate error for example. Nothing that would be hard to fix though. But how would you possible get feedback like that if you basically spit into the face of people filing bugs here? May I ask which software license Resurrect Pages is released under? I would be willing to continue development if the license allowed it. It's not that Resurrect Pages is a groundbreaking extension, it can be easily recreated in an afternoon of programming. The locales however, can not, that's why I would love to re-use your codebase.
